
Congratulations to our March STAR3 student Alexandra! Alexandra was recognized at the March Board of Education meeting for being a student who is Respectful, Responsible, and Doing the Right Thing!



Yesterday, our teachers participated in professional development on Inclusion Strategies for Success and iReady. Harmonee Klein and Kara Billings led an interactive PD on Inclusion and provided our teachers with strategies to help all students be successful in the classroom!





Stained glass artist, Barbara Howell, recently presented her skill and talent to our students at our Arts Alive program. She also created a beautiful stained glass Hopewell piece that she donated to our school. Thank you, Mrs. Howell!

Congratulations to our Hopewell Elementary EBOB Team on winning the Randolph County School System's 2025 Elementary School Battle of the Books! They will represent Randolph County in the Region 5 regional competition on April 5th.

March is National Nutrition Month - thank you RCSS School Nutrition Team!


There will be a teacher workday on Friday, March 14 - no school for students.


The opening reception for Youth Art Month was held yesterday at the Randolph Arts Guild in downtown Asheboro. Student artwork will be on display throughout March. The exhibit is free and open to the public.


Congratulations to our Elementary Battle of the Books team and coaches they will be advancing to the District EBOB competition on March 13th!




The HES PTSA is partnering with local businesses for a Food Drive!
Please bring in non-perishable food items to your homeroom from now until Friday, February 28th.
There will be one homeroom class per grade level (K-5) to each win a pizza party!
Suggested Items: peanut butter, powdered milk, cereal, spaghetti sauce, etc.


The Randolph County School System will operate on our regular schedule tomorrow (Friday, 2/21/25).


2/20/25 will be a Remote Learning Day. Students should NOT report to their school’s Campus on 2/20/25.

February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, and the Randolph County School System wants to express our heartfelt gratitude to our Career and Technical Education staff, including Career Development Coordinators and Central Services support staff. These dedicated individuals work tirelessly to prepare our students for the workforce and provide them with valuable opportunities to explore a wide variety of career paths. Through their efforts, they not only teach and mentor but also actively collaborate with community leaders, local businesses, and industry partners to ensure our students' success.


Earlier this week we celebrated the 100th day of school at the Hive!
