If you haven’t already registered your child for Kindergarten, don’t wait! Families registering new Kindergarten students should also complete transportation requests early. Waiting until the last minute to register may delay bus service at the start of school.

If your student will need bus transportation at the beginning of the school year and you're unsure whether a request has been submitted, please contact your child's school as soon as possible.

On May 15, RCSS School Nutrition Department attended the Farm-To-School Calendar Award Ceremony in Raleigh. Asher Hill at Hopewell won the contest. His picture of a crop dusting plane will be in the 26-27 farm-to-school calendar. His teacher is Cori Cagle. Congratulations Asher!
We are so proud to have another winner chosen for the NC Farm to School Calendar Contest! We celebrated Asher’s achievement in Raleigh on Friday at the State Fairgrounds during the Got To Be NC Festival.
There were over 3,500 entries from 58 counties and only 13 were selected for the calendar. The calendar highlights the wonderful partnership between NC farms and school cafeterias.
