Positive office referrals are one way that we recognize students who are helping make the Hive a great place to “bee”! These students were referred to the office for their positive behavior by staff members and recognized by Dr. Miller!

Third-grade students at Hopewell transformed into public figures for a special Wax Museum event, showcasing their research and presentation skills.
In preparation for the event, students explored the lives of famous figures, conducting in-depth research and compiling key facts into engaging slide deck presentations. Their work focused on individuals who made significant contributions to society, such as inventors, leaders, and cultural icons.
During the Wax Museum event, parents, teachers, and staff walked through the Media Center and cafeteria, where students—dressed as their chosen figures—shared their findings through interactive presentations, bringing their subjects to life for attendees.
The students worked hard on their research and presentations, and it was amazing to see their enthusiasm. Events like this help build research skills, public speaking abilities, and a love for learning.
