Students, the hard part is behind you. Introducing #NCCollegeConnect.
With North Carolina’s new simplified application program, public high school seniors with a weighted 2.8 GPA or above can easily apply to participating UNC System universities and their local North Carolina community college.
All eligible students have to do is complete a simplified application, maintain their GPA, and meet graduation and UNC System requirements. That's right - no essays!
Dig into the details at NCCollegeConnect.org!

Reminder: Friday, October 4 is a teacher workday.

Thank you to our school system's community partners during the 2023-2024 school year! We could not do what we do without YOU!

2025 Graduation Dates

Attention Seniors - Beginning September 30th use the College Connect simplified process to apply to multiple NC colleges at one time!

The Randolph County School System celebrated its outstanding educators at the annual Teacher of the Year Banquet on Tuesday, September 3, at Pinewood Country Club in Asheboro. Congratulations to Ms Wood, Chemistry teacher, for being a finalist for teacher of the year. We are proud of all she does each and every day for RECHS.

CFNC's College Application Week will be October 21-27. Many colleges and universities in North Carolina let high school seniors apply for FREE if they use the College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) website. This helps students save money and get support during the college application process.
