Recently Mrs. Klein's uncle, an Asheville resident, began the “Love Notes” project and asked if our school would be interested in participating. Our Honeybees enthusiastically embraced this opportunity, crafting “Love Notes” on large orange circles. These notes will be distributed and displayed in the yards of individuals in Western North Carolina who have been affected by Hurricane Helene. Students across all grades, from pre-k to fifth grade, were encouraged to express words of encouragement and support. To date, they have created over 156 love notes. We hope that this project will remind students that even in small actions, they can make a big difference.
