If you haven’t already registered your child for Kindergarten, don’t wait! Families registering new Kindergarten students should also complete transportation requests early. Waiting until the last minute to register may delay bus service at the start of school.

🚍 RCSS is planning for the 2026-2027 school year! Make sure your child's transportation request is on file!

If your student will need bus transportation at the beginning of the school year and you're unsure whether a request has been submitted, please contact your child's school as soon as possible.

📅 Transportation requests must be submitted by July 31, 2026 for students to ride the bus during the first two weeks of school. Requests received after July 31 will not be eligible for bus service until after Labor Day.

The Randolph County School System is in the continuous accreditation process through Cognia, and parent feedback is an important part of this work!

Our Stakeholder Survey is now open through May 24, 2026. Parents can complete the survey using the link on the district website or their child’s school webpage. Held at Black Powder Smokehouse in Asheboro last night, the evening featured inspiring words from Mr. Elbert Lassiter, whose decades of leadership in North Carolina athletics reflect true service, integrity, and excellence.

Eastern Randolph and Southwestern Randolph High School's JROTC cadets visit to the Patton Museum at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Students from Southeastern Randolph Middle School and Eastern Randolph High School had the incredible opportunity to attend the Latin Summit at the McKimmon Center at NCSU!
Throughout the day, they engaged in meaningful learning experiences, connected with peers from across the region, and celebrated the richness of Latin culture, language, and leadership. Opportunities like this help broaden perspectives, build confidence, and inspire future pathways.
